Congratulations to “X” Burlesque for celebrating its third anniversary
at Flamingo Las Vegas Casino this week. The sexy female revue featuring
new dancers, new numbers, new costumes and new temptations. Performed in
the intimate setting inside Bugsy’s Cabaret, the “X” Girls strip away
their inhibitions to such new numbers as Britney Spears’ energetic “3”
in honor of their three years at Flamingo and kick off the show in style
to a new pulse-pounding opening set to Metallica’s “Roam,” where the
girls come to life through a picture frame. Snow, pole tricks and a hot
hip-hop medley are just some of the other additions to the show while
fan favorites such as the bathtub and the bungee-ballet number remain in
the line-up. “X” Burlesque excites audiences nightly at 10p and tickets
are $44.95 General Admission and $55.95 VIP (plus tax and fees) which
includes preferred seating. X Burlesque tickets can be purchased on our
sister web site,
HalfPriceShows.com at 50% OFF box office prices.

Stratosphere Casino will once again support the efforts of the American
Lung Association of Nevada as sponsor of the second annual “Scale the
Strat” extreme stair climb on Saturday, March 13 and Sunday, March 14.
Last year’s event attracted 111 participants from across the United
States and raised more than $80,000 to help prevent lung disease and
promote lung health in Nevada. Dubbed as a “vertical road race,” stair
climbs are a signature fundraising event for the American Lung
Association. The events are also popular with firefighters as climbing
stairs is part of their standard and rigorous training. In fact, a
firefighter from Seattle raced the 108 floors and 1,455 steps of the
Stratosphere in seven minutes, 32 seconds to win bragging rights last
year. The event is limited to the first 400 participants 21 years of age
or older. The qualifying event will be held on Saturday, March 13,
starting at 11a with the top 50 fastest climbers competing on Sunday,
March 14 for the ultimate “Climb-Off.” Registration is $50, and climbers
are also asked to make a minimum fundraising pledge of $250 to the
American Lung Association. |
