I think they should be made to finish a fake front on them so they
are not such an eye soar. Linda D. Las Vegas, NV
Understanding they are out of money or they would have finished the
projects, I feel they could at least place plants and make a fake
looking landscape to the front of the property that faces the main
streets. Kenny L. New Jersey
According to many of the financial newsletters I read, the economy
will not really be back for years - maybe never. To maintain a
respectable appearance for what will remain, the owners of these
properties should be given 6-9 months to find a buyer who contracts to
commence building, or the property is condemned, torn down, and removed.
This is sad and drastic, but must be done...... Dr. H. James Habeger

I also think a fake front should at least be made to save the
Strip's look! Micheline Brussels Belgium
Things all over are bad . vegas should stop all projects for
now. When things get better then go again. Jim Miller

Great topic! I will be visiting in three weeks and I must admit I am
a little anxious about what I will encounter, especially bringing along
a few 'newbies' with me. Perhaps large tarps of what the completed
projects are supposed to look like when finished, hung from the
prospective buildings? Let's remember that Vegas is the place where
dreams are made. Can we at least Try and bring an element of hopefulness
back to the jewel of the desert?? Lucynda B

I think the world is in a terrible economic crunch and not sure you
can ask people who went into bankruptcy or feel on hard times and did
not finish a project to spend more money. These unfinished
projects are filled with lawyers and people already arguing over money
and not sure you can ask them to make any improvement to their
unfinished eye sore. Robert M. Chicago, IL
Maybe some kind of fast track system can be in place like they did
for General Motors and thus allow a continuation of building either by
the newly reconstructed company or by selling off the non completed
building. Mary Ann Charlotte NC
